1. Order Cancellation
For Customers:
- Standard Cakes: Orders may be canceled up to 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund.
- Customized Cakes: Orders for personalized or made-to-order cakes must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. No refund will be provided if the cancellation is made after this period.
- Same-day or Express Orders: These are non-refundable once confirmed due to immediate preparation by the baker.

- Please contact us at info@homecake.in or via WhatsApp (+91 9944 9955 40) with your order number and reason for cancellation.
2. Refunds
Refunds are processed in the following situations:
- Non-Delivery: If your cake is not delivered and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable time.
- Wrong or Damaged Item: If the delivered item is not what was ordered or is significantly damaged (with valid photo proof submitted at the same time of delivery).
- Seller Cancellation: If the home baker cancels the order from their end.
Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:
- Taste or design preferences not matching expectations (for custom cakes)
- Incorrect delivery address or unavailability at the time of delivery
- Delayed delivery due to factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, etc.)
3. Refund Process
- Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method (UPI, card, wallet, etc.).
- In some cases, you may be offered store credit or a re-delivery as an alternative.

HomeCake.in acts as a marketplace facilitator and works closely with each home baker to ensure fair practices. However, individual seller policies may apply and will be mentioned at checkout if different.
